Just heard on espn. They credited Adam Shefter with league sources
They're knees are knockin!!!
So much for feeling confident with Kolb!
wow...that is interesting...
wonder if it is for a couple of weeks or more long term... that says something about Kolb, methinks...
It says "you suck Kevin Kolb. We have ZERO confidence in you and we wasted a 2nd rounder on you"
I figured that would happen. He is better than Feeley. I wonder who they cut to make room on the roster. More importantly, who do they cut once McNabb is back healthy and Vick is reinstated. They can't keep 4 QBs, can they?
me too...kinda surprising...maybe McNabb is more hurt than they initially thought.
also says they dont think much of Vick as a QB either
Pretty clear they have no faith in Kolb then. This can't be long term. Surely once Vick is back and McNabb comes back the week after this they're not keeping all 3 on the roster.
They have to go into next weeks game with just Kolb. They won't have a back up because McNabb is hurt and Vick isn't eligible to play yet. They needed someone. It could have been Feeley or Garcia because both know the system and have been back ups there before. I would take Garcia over Feeley.
So if they don't trust Kolb why is he still employed?
Hes Right, Vick is suspended and mcnabb is out. If something happens to kolb you will be running the wildcat the rest of the game. That is all its for.
Because he was their number one pick 2 years ago. Hello McFly?
That says a lot of about Vick and Kolb.
its smart on their part, you dont know if mcnabb can stay healthy this year;
garcia has played there before and knows the system
Except that I think Garcia is largely done.
no it doesn't.... If Mcnabb can't play or even be the backup and with Vick suspended until week three, they have no other backup Qb on gameday this week...it's a smart move, it's not along term solution...use your brain
And the team knows that both Kolb and Vick suck as quarterback options.
exactly, it is a smart move
McNabb might not be able to play next week.
Vick is still unable to play.
That leaves Kolb and no one else.
They had to sign another QB; regardless of what they think of Kolb.
McNabb according to Reid is out for the next 2 weeks
I still think Jeff is a really good QB. He may be old but he really can make an opponent miserable.
