I'd wager good money the Eagles or the Giants (or both) go RB in the 1st round this year.
Cook >>> Fournette
Fournette scares me in an Earl Campbell kind of way, except 6 good years turns into only two or three. I been seeing Shady McCoy comps with Cook lately.
I see a more physical version of Chris Johnson in Cook.
I'm not really sold on Cook as some bigtime back. I think he's good but his situation will determine a lot.
That's why I like the Texas RB better. I think hes more physical and more of a guarantee to be good at the next level because of all of the traits he has.
Fournette looks like an injury list regular. Seems like a guy that will find that playing vs. other large, fast pros is a great equalizer. Give me Zeke.
Although he won't be available until next year's draft, I think scouts are really drooling over Saquon Barkley.
Fournette supposedly has a chronic bone condition in his ankle. Even so, I would go with Elliott. I had said that I would take him over Fournette and Gurley last year, and was laughed at by some.
Dalvin Cook is my favorite runner in this class. He majorly improved as a pass receiver this year.
If Philly doesn't draft a WR in the first somebody ought to be fired.
Cook is my favorite RB in this draft. Admittedly, I don't know much about Mixon.
Corey Davis will be an Eagle
Give me Elliot
Anybody remember what he did against the vaunted Alabama defense when no one was giving OSU a chance?
He loves big games
If the Giants are smart, they should go online in the 1st and look for a back day two.
I really don't see the Woodhead comparison even though that is who he is mostly compared too.
I didn't quite understand what this means or if it's even significant. No one has caught Zeke once he has broken into the clear. So what if Fournette maintains a 9.7 over 40 meters vs. Zeke's 9.9. Ain't nobody catching him.
With all due respect, Elliott had the better team. LSU had NO passing game, allowing Alabama to stack the box and stuff Fournette.
I think Elliott is more elusive than Fournette.
I think it will depend on which team drafts Fournette. He'd better hope he doesn't go to Cleveland or Jacksonville. Carolina would be a good fit for him.
Executive 1: Fournette
“Fournette is faster and he can hold his speed longer than Elliott. Elliott was further along as a blocker and receiver at Ohio State, but I thought Fournette made some small improvements in those areas this year.”
Executive 2: Elliott
“Zeke is more versatile and would fit in any offense. Fournette is a stronger, more violent runner but there is more uncertainty with him, mainly pass protection. By the way, look at Zeke’s numbers vs. Alabama and compare them to Fournette’s.”
Executive 3: Fournette
“I really like Elliott, but Fournette is an animal. Guys like him don’t come around very often.”
Executive 4: Elliott
“Fournette is a physical stud, but Zeke is just a better all-around football player.”
Executive 5: Fournette
“You don’t see guys with Fournette’s size/speed combination very often. He’s a rare, rare talent. He’s the most talented runner to come out since Adrian Peterson.”
If Fournette came out last year, he would've went 4th overall.
