I'm glad somebody gets it, even if you're not a Cowboys fan.

I think I posted in another thread. Jimmy has any many playoff appearances and victories from his time in Miami as Dallas has since the time Jimmy left.

    Hell, it might be more.

That's how Jimmy did. 4 years versus 17 years.

Who was the GM when it was decided Bernadeau and Livings would fix the OL?

I cannot believe that anyone would think Jerry was more responsible for the great teams than Jimmy..

Nevermind the fact that many were ex-Hurricanes or players Jimmy tried to recruit. Without Jimmy, those guys still would've been brought in by 500 other coaches.

One hell of a post. The Jerry supporters will still disagree with you, but you are telling the truth.

Jerry will neglect another area this offseason and we will be in the same situation this time next year.

You were bashing the team on here before week 8, what are you suddenly a homer now that we've been eliminated?

Ever think that maybe thats all the could afford? its fun as a fan to say get the best OG best OT. Because fans live in madden. Realistically Cowboys had little money to spend after going for a lock in Carr. But the thing alot of you dont understand or dont want to is that, Livings and Bernadeau arent glued to Dallas. They can cut either and have very little impact against the cap.

    Seems that way.

I certainly don't think Jerry has a vision for what he wants a team to look like. As you said, he seems to lean towards whoever has his ear at the moment. As a result, you end up with a mish mash of styles.

Although the more recent drafts have been more productive, they haven't been very deep and they've drafted a lot of guys that seem to have issues staying on the field.

like with our O line somehow our standards have slipped from having the best to just not having the worst

Locking us up with Carr was Jerry's decision. Furthermore, his decision to give up one 2nd round player for another CB.

Jerry put himself into the position of having Livings and Bernadeau.

Yep. It's just simple math: If they're rushing 6-7 and we have five in to block, we're not going to consistently be successful, especially when every route is slow developing and 20 yards down the field.

No one in the NFL currently has a line that good.
