Jessica Alba is setting the record straight: Sweden was neutral during World War II.

Jessica Alba is setting the record straight: Sweden was neutral during World War II.

Alba and Fox TV show host Bill O’Reilly traded punches last week after the presidential inauguration. After Alba told a Fox reporter that O’Reilly was “kind of an ******;” he retaliated by calling her a “pinhead” for telling a reporter to “be Sweden about it,” assuming she meant Switzerland.

“I want to clear some things up that have been bothering me lately,” Alba blogged on ******* Celebrity. “Last week, Mr. Bill O'Reilly and some really classy sites (i.e.TMZ) insinuated I was dumb by claiming Sweden was a neutral country. I appreciate the fact that he is a news anchor and that gossip sites are inundated with intelligent reporting, but seriously people... it's so sad to me that you think the only neutral country during WWII was Switzerland.”

Although Switzerland is more frequently cited as an example of neutrality, Sweden did indeed follow a policy of neutrality during World War II.

    History point to Alba.

Who's History? The truth of the matter is that both Sweden and Switzerland laundered money, gold, art, jewlery and historical artifacts for Germany. Not just trivial amounts either. Vasts quantities and yes, even German Party members at the end of the War. Their hands are far from clean, both countries but yeah, Alba knows what she's talking about.

    Way to go MSNBC!

They were both considered neutral countries during WW II...irregardless of the things you said and you're right about what they did.

    To quote Jimmy Kimmel...

    "How is this news?"

Besides... the definition of a neutral country in WW2 is "Country that Hitler didn't get around to invading yet before being defeated by the Allied Forces."

I think it is kind of funny myself and a bit of medicine for someone calling her out as a pinhead on his pinhead and patriots section.

Then again, it is not the first time Bill has been wrong about WWII history.

Either way any post that has a pic of Alba is ok with me.:)

I think the Sci Fi channel bought the old Dark Angel series and is going to show them, if they have not already.
