Couldn't help but think of this issue when Romo took that hit from Gerald McCoy.

Yep. It took awhile after Jim retired for this to really show up. I hope it is not the same for Tony. I wish McMahon well.

Funny, I don't think that any fans feel that the lawsuit is motivated by greed. I think fans see the toll that the NFL has taken on these people and we are behind them in getting money to take care of them as these problems rear their ugly heads.

What was he gonna do outside of football? Andrew Hill high school graduates from that era didn't really have much going for them. It's a much better school now from what I hear.

Probably a bit of this mixed in with his "condition"...

On April 9, 2012 it was reported that McMahon was targeted by the feds for $104 million in bad loans, as reported by the Chicago Sun-Times. The FDIC wants to recover $104 million in loans made by the bank before it was shut down, according to the newspaper.

Meanwhile, Roger Staubach built a real estate empire worth hundreds of millions of dollars despite multiple concussions during his playing days.

There are a million things that could have caused this for McMahon. I hate when it's assumed football is the cause of these issues. McMahon was a loose cannon that probably subjected himself to all sorts of things back in the day.

Why is it that those most bankrupt seem to be squawking the loudest?

And I'm sure there's gotta be some drug abuse too.

Does he regret stabbing himself in the eye with a fork?

He will regret whatever his lawyer tells him to regret to try to get a piece of the settlement.

    Regrets football...?

Wonder what he would be doing right now if he didnt have football.

Sucks that he's got that going on but come on...no one forced the guy to play ball and I doubt very seriously that he actually regrets playing it.

This sounds like a line fed to him by someone out to try and make some money.
