And yet, Jimmy's coaching philosophy still enjoys success TODAY. Bellichick is just as much a Jimmy disciple as he is Parcells. I would say more. Bellichick and Parcells had a falling out and Bellichick turned to Jimmy. Like Garrett, Bellichick picks Jimmy's brain every single year.

It is no coincidence that Bellichick's Patriots are the only other team to win 3 Lombardi's in 4 seasons. His Patriots may not have been as talented as Jimmy's Cowboys, but they are just as disciplined, prepared and play with unbelievable swagger.

It's been almost 20 years since Jimmy left. Sad.

Jimmy was ready to leave even if Jerry hadn't made that comment.

I keep hearing that and I use it as an excuse myself to make myself feel better but you know what the man made that comment.

Was Jerry drunk when he said that?

As a Pokes fan, I'm looking forward to seeing this...but overall, I've found this series to be pretty unremarkable.

Granted, as a Time Warner customer, I've only seen the ones starting with Steve McNair, but I guess I was expecting something more along the lines of a 30 for 30 style.

I believe the quote was more along the lines that any of 500 coaches could be brought in and win a super bowl...and technically, he was correct FWIW.

    Good luck.

I have a feeling the usual guys will smell blood in the water over that one.

They're probably seaching for some Boudreaux's paste before they attack.

Geeez fellas...Attack the face, neck or shoulders. But, for the love of Pete, leave the butt alone! At MY age, sitting is MUCH more a player in my life over looks!

    :p:

Ok Jerry, with a team that Jimmy Johnson built. Great comeback we've been suffering ever since.

I can't wait to see this episode. I love the show in general but this makes it special for me. I love my dallas cowboys but the 90's were special to me growing up watching with my dad. Started a tradition that every Sunday from 9 am to 11 pm just us. This will definitely bring back memories

To see how far we have fallen and to realize how long we've been down. Those truly were magic times. We didn't just think we were going to win, we were all shocked when we didn't. Now we're just shocked when we don't lose...

    Can't wait to see this.
