I'm with you on that sentiment.
Or a dynamite pass rush.
Neither do I . In this thread he's getting knocked for failing to cover Terell Owens . even our best Cover corner couldn't cover Owens. Infact I doubt their any Cbs in the league who can cover Owens for an entire game.
Tony is always around the ball. he's made more plays for the team than he has mistakes. He's a hard working and smart kid. I am looking forward to the competition between Dixon and Davis.
What in the heck is that contraption in your sig, QCard?
Its the new Bat Mobile in the BATBegins movie scheduled to be released in June 2005. The guy from Americna Pysho is Bruce Wayne
Really? Apparently Batman improved his batmobile as the years passed. That thing looks like a lawnmower on steroids. I think he built in the Monster Garage.
Unfortunately we have Roy and Woodson.
We need to get a FS out there. Dixon is what he is a very good ST player and backup SS. We start asking him to cover WR's and we are in BIG trouble.
Lawnmower on steroids
Check out the rear
Sorry guys didn't mean to hijack this thread.
I'm really pulling for him to do well. He's a quality person who I hopes makes the best of this opportunity.
Good post InmanRoshi I agree 100% It's not Dixon's falt that he has a Hall Oof Famer playing in front of him.
That dude and that movie were great one of my all time favorites. And is it just me or has the Bat Mobile become too tricked up?
Oh yeah, I predict that Dixon and Hunter will be just fine. Just a hunch
Looks more like a Redneck 4-wheel drive Batmobile to me...
Christian Bale to play Batman is an odd choice... I still like Michael Keaton the best...
Here's Bale aka Bruce Wayne
He seemed pretty odd too until I saw
The Dark Knight
Well... he is a fine actor... I just can't get past Batman with an odd lisp...
oh... how 'bout that Tony Dixon...
yean how about Tony Dixon lol
I never noticed his lisp. I hope Tony Dixon doesn't have a lisp or the 2001 draft will forever be remembered as the speech impediment crew
Its amazing how Tony Dixon supposedly can't hold his weight in pass protection and has "dozens" of breakdowns in coverage, yet plays the deep 3rd on a nickel and dime defense that leads the NFL is just about every statistical category in the NFL. Seems as though if he were constantly getting beaten deep, it would show in the Cowboys 3rd down coversion rate.
But it doesn't.
Things that make you go Hhmmmmmmmmm.
Kind of like how Dallas' defense is supposedly crippled because they don't have a 'true' free safety and we only have one guy who can cover, yet lead the NFL in every virtually passing defensive stat.
But its been repeated often enough on messageboards that it simply must be true.
Weel. we'll see how he fares vs Moss and Robinson
The only positive I see her is this is now year 2 under BP and his offseason as well as tthe 4th straight year in the same defense
If that's the only positive you see, you might want to scoot on over to NFL.com and look up some pass defense stats.
I was just thinking that Wiley is a better answer for the loss of Woody not Dixon.
Well if we don't have a pass rush against Minny... we could get a spanking.
