Personally I can't get too excited about a ST coach. Seems that who ever we get, our ST will have problems. We have too many depth guys on our team that we need to keep as backups, but can't play ST well (Like Ogletree, although he'l probably be gone in 2013). Until we can trim our 53 to include more guys who excel on ST, we will have problems.

Thanks for that tidbit. Emotionally, I'm psyched about it. But logically I didn't have enough real info. This helps.

When Michelle and I walk we go up an old country road down from the house. Along the way there are fire ant hills often several in sight at a time on just one side of the road.

During the summer there are often ants about the hill doing their little ant things. During the winter there is generally no activity so I often swipe the hill with my shoe and out comes thousands of fire ants ready to defend their nest or hive or whatever its called.

Michelle gets upset with me for doing that so I have stopped stirring up the ants. Sooner or later they were going to sting me anyway.

So the moral of the story is to let sleeping ants lie.

You do it because it is either fascinating or fun I take it.

What's the difference except who is doing it? Because I sure don't see this analogy being shared with the other side.

No... you destroy those ants... otherwise you have more hills and more of those pesky little ants that want to sting you!

nip it in the bud and get rid of them! :p:

No I did it gently to see if there were any ants. After awhile I discovered they were always there. There was no need to keep kicking ant hills anymore. A waste of my time and it was bothering the ants and my wife. So I quit while the quitting was good.

    Let those with ears hear.

I thought he did an incredible job with Bailey over the course of the year. He was money in the bank.

I say he stays without second thought.

I think we've upgraded out defensive coaching staff.

I also like Garrett going to HC only and someone else calling the plays.
Two big plusses for next year, imo.

Now, let's continue to upgrade the roster.

I thought fisher's advice was better. Kill the ants.

Callahan to call the plays and Kiffens hire with the coaching staff we have are great moves for the cowboys and especially jason Garrett.

Jobberone is nice, refined and courteous.

I am mean, blunt and tired of the childish posts from the Hatfield and McCoy's rivalry

If you are not part of the solution than it probably means you are part of the problem.

What hype - did you see the season's that Lee, Spencer and Carter put up while they were on the field? Now look at how well he managed to get guys like Albright and Sims play. I think the guy has real talent and will probably be a DC some day. At this point we don't have to go by what Ryan said - we can see what kind of player development has happened under his watch here and judge for ourselves.

He obviously has a very good football mind and I think he will be a DC someday.
