That would be nice. He's a good D-Line coach.

And a second former head coach on staff (Callahan) that he could seek advice from should he deem it necessary.

I saw that also. He would be retained by Trestman.

I'd love this. I don't think he was the problem at all in Detroit. I thought he got shafted in that whole deal.

Call me crazy but I'm liking the move to a 4-3... Dallas has some really nice pieces to fit the scheme.

I know he wants to stay loyal to Lovie and not hang around Chicago without him there, but what's going to prevent him from looking at other DC positions around the league for an assistant position here? I hope we land him.

Perhaps. He did have an awful team. But maybe he's just one of those who's better off being a defensive coach.

Henry Melton has credited Marinelli for his development at the NT position & taking his game to another level.. Being Melton's hometown, plus the switch to a 4-3 & then his d-line coach staying with him, it'll def be interesting to see what he does. I know money talks when it all comes down to it, but I am just throwing that out there. First, Jerry needs to get Marinelli hired.
