Sure they'll still have some chemistry issues, but once they get some chemistry developed the Lakers will be one of the best teams in the league. Kobe right now is playing phenomenal basketball. He's having his best season so far from an efficiency stand point. Howard isn't close to 100 percent yet and is still putting up 20 & 10. The Lakers don't have alot of depth obviously, but when you have this talent you don't need great depth. This team doesn't need the fountain of youth either. They may be old, but they're also very talented and experienced and most young teams don't win championships. Look at Oklahoma City last season. Their youth and lack of experience is why they lost to Miami. When the Lakers won back to back championships a few seasons ago they didn't have alot of depth or any youth outside of Andrew Bynum. As bad as the Lakers have played so far this season they're only 3 games behind San Antonio for the best record in the West.
