    Leg injury casts doubt on durability of K-State's Daniel Thomas Daniel Thomas, There goes Daniel Thomas, Kansas State’s workhorse running back, plowing into another defender, bouncing off another and finally hitting the ground after maybe four hits.

    Thomas was tough, determined and strong in his two seasons with the Wildcats. Snyder loved that. It didn’t hurt that the kid tallied 2,850 yards and 30 touchdowns in a brief but memorable career.
