    I'm mock draft drunk already.

NE calls. They are desperate for a pass rusher.

Ware for 17, 28 and their lower #2 which I believe is 58.

    Would you?

    Gives us 9, 17, 28, 40 and 58.

Crazier things have happened. Bledsoe and Key both fetched two 1's.

NE would still have 33 and two 3's.

Wouldn't give up Ware for draft picks, draft class is too weak. There are some stars no doubt, but the depth at the positions we really need (mainly OL) is lacking. Safety too.

When you draft a player, you DREAM they can become a DeMarcus Ware. Why trade that in their prime? No.

When you draft a DREAM player and you are still a long way away from being a consistent contender maybe you use him as a catalyst to build a dynasty. Like we did with Herschell. Like NE did with Bledsoe and Curtis Martin.

    17, 28 and 33 for Ware.

    9) Aldon Smith OLB

    17) JJ Watt or Cameron Heyward DE

    28) Gabe Carimi RT

    33) Marquiz Wilson ILB

    40) Stefen Wisniewski C

According to DC.com radio we played 21 UDFA's last year.

IMO we are 10-12 good players away from being a consistently good team, year in and year out. We have 7 picks this year...........3-4 of them aren't going to matter 5-7 like every year.

To build a dynasty we need to stockpile picks and that takes a catalyst.
