    Limas Sweed-WR- Steelers Mar. 7 - 2:26 pm et

According to the National Football Post, Limas Sweed "doesn't have a future with the Steelers."

It's notable that the team is conducting business as if Sweed isn't even on the roster. With Santonio Holmes, Hines Ward, and Mike Wallace locked in as receivers Nos. 1-3, the Steelers pursued Arnaz Battle as a potential No. 4 and special teams help. Sweed may not even make the club out of training camp.

No...this guy is TERRIBLE. He was a walking failure in Pittsburgh, dropped so many passes. A rookie passed him on the depth chart last season. He is a pretender...couldn't get out of Roy's shadow at Texas.

After two years w/ Pittsburgh he has amassed 7 receptions for a whopping 69yds.

We'd be fools not to go after this guy.

Strange how not having a future and not being able to play go hand in hand.

Oh I thought, maybe he can play free safety. He's got to be better than Hamlin since he would know all the routes that receivers run...go get him Jerry, convert him over.

The second coming of Roberto Duran Hands Of Stone. Every time I see that guy he's dropping a pass.

The name is sexy, that's it.

As the saying goes, he can't catch a cold. Thank God our efforts to trade up for him failed.
