There is a lot of good players left. Hard to say.
I really think Short or Bennie Logan is what we're looking for.
I'd be happy with Eddie Lacy at this point as well.
I would be happy with any of these guys
This. I would be absolutely ecstatic if we drafted Warford fwiw. The dude is a brick wall.
Top 5 targets in order:
Warford - get those crap OGs signed last year off the roster
Cyprien - I was OK with him at 31
Taylor - as a FS of course, really like him
Hankins - very underrated, I think
Watson - I was OK with him at 31, but they do have other options (Parnell, FA)
I don't like Short but he would probably be a 2nd round guy if you wanted him. Logan I like a lot more but I think he's a solid 3rd round guy. Of course, after last night, we might take him anywhere so you never know.
Yeah Logan looks like he has some upside. He's got a little athleticism.
I think the team really likes Logan as well. Just my gut feeling. But I can see us taking him at 47 not expecting him to be there in the 3rd. just like the Frederick situation
Warford. Any Tony Romo Stan should agree and I don't even like Romo.
I was thinking about this, too. CowboysZone will melt down if they select Logan at 47.
I actually do have a mid second round grade on him.
I keep repeating that we might take Logan at 47 just so some people get used to the idea.
Seems about the spot that he should go. I'd prefer someone else, but it's not a reach
There were people talking about him being a top 15 pick at one point (early in the eval process).
I'll take him in the 2nd or 3rd, no problem.
And I agree with you.
I wouldn't mind Brandon Williams either, might be there in the third.
