And I looked and behold a pale horse. And it's rider was Rico, and Hell followed him!
We'll see if he can put it together. The Giants had Donnell, who was 6'6 265, but just kept making mistakes. The metal part is going to be key.
The legend grows
With the way Gathers is being hyped, if he shows the expected improvement for a guy who is in his second training camp since middle school, people will complain that he's a bust and a wasted draft pick.
Year three will be the make or break moment. I don't expect much from him this upcoming season. He's still learning how to play football.
Another point on Gathers is that assuming he make the team (and he should) he won't be asked to be the first option of the offense or be Antonio Gates next year. He will be the 2nd TE and something like the 4th or 5th option for Dak Prescott. What we get from him will be a bonus over the performance of guys like Swaim next year - and offense wasn't the problem this year.
Do you expect him to be on the roster, though? Now sure if he survives another year on the practice squad with all this hype, lol.
I guess most didn't catch this.
Yes, and likely not active for a single game this year.
If rico puts in the work he can be an impact player
Size and speed are tremendous but it's all gonna come down to how bad he wants to be great
With football cleats on he's around 6'8, who cares honestly the point is he's a specimen...
If his work ethic has been as reported the sky's the limit.
You could say that about a lot of TEs and other positions for that matter. The nfl measurements are barefoot.
