Looking for some user reviews on a few different tablets.

    1. Asus transformer
-are the corners as uncomfortable as some CNET reviews have said?
-have you had any problems while using the dock?

    2. Asus transformer prime

    3. Samsung galaxy tab 10.1

If Android is the factor, then there is no other choice BUT the Asus Transformer Prime TF201.

We have a few at my office but I haven't gotten around to getting mine yet, but the tablet is amazing. Nothing slows it down.

My users love them and they never complain about the corners or any docking problems. All they talk about is how fast it is and is a real pleasure to use compared to their laptops.

Get the 64GB version if you can find it. I got an Amazon ping a day ago and they had 12 in stock, but Im sure they are gone now.

You might as well get the etra 32GB of space for the extra 100.00.

Good luck and report back what you go with and your experience with it.

Personally don't care for the asus tablets. I've only had limited time playing with them but the people I know that own them aren't very satisfied. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is the one I want when I finally get around to having the extra cash to grab one. Most of the sites I've looked at have the galaxy tab ranked near the top of their lists.

They make the best MB's around, so I don't get your issue w/ ASUS. Is it PC? I wouldn't buy an asus PC or laptop, but the Prime is the best tablet out on the market and nothing even comes close to its performance.

So your friends have the TF201? Are you sure they aren using the old Transformer TF101?

I suspect the latter and that one though good wasn't nothing like the 201 on the market today.

No tablet but the 201 has the new Tegra 3 quad core processor.

Why on earth would you get anything other than an iPad 3 in few weeks?

Not a fan of Apple. Overpriced, and cannot customize it much, which is something that is important to me.

The display and cameras (which i wont be taking many pics anyways) are going to be better on the ipad 3 but other than that, id say the Transformer Prime beats it.

I was thinking the same thing. Every android phone or tablet I've used is clunky by comparison. Personally, I like the stuff Samsung is doing, but it still isn't as good as the stuff Apple does.

Nothing will be anywhere close to as good as the iPad 3. But then none are anywhere close now.

    lol. Care to elaborate?

It should be illegal to give a negative review without even giving a reason why. You didn't even name a product. You just named the entire company. :laugh2:

They really are a solid company and usually have excellent product. They can stumble just like any company can however and they have.

To say ASUS as a whole is a bad company and you wouldn't buy anything ASUS, is kinda of out there.

Maybe he means ACER? I bet he means ACER.:D

5 years ago I had a research paper due the next day and my Dell's MB fried, luckily, I had the paper on a flash drive but was out a computer to finish it. It was approx. 10-11 PM and I had to go to wal mart and buy an ACER. The thing lasted me longer than any laptop I have had :laugh2:. I still have it, dont use it, but still have it and it works great.

In the tablet market their aren't Apple fanboys and other fanboys, as there aren't any legitimate alternatives. Phones are a different story.
