mine were primarily to assist in recovery and help build muscle surrounding the actual joint. Make the muscles that support the knee as strong as possible, as quickly as possible. Basically, help the newly repaired ligaments support the joint.

I highly suspect you got anabolic steroids which makes plenty of sense to me. Hearing it now makes me wonder why we didn't do this years ago. I guess it was too controversial given all the problems we had with prescription steroids 20-30 years ago.

They are good examples, but both situations were quite different.

The 49ers waited until the 3rd round to get Gore and really didn't overload him his rookie season(127 carries). That is good value as he has gone on to have a good career.

The Bills on the other hand used a 1st rounder on McGahee and he missed his entire rookie season. That is poor value for a 1st round pick even though he has gone on to have a decent career.

The specialist who did my last one was the same guy who was the head of Sports Medicine for Ohio State. He was pretty good.

Agreed. Not interested. Durability is as important as ability.

I'm still leaning towards Bell from Michigan St. If he shows and short area burst, then that's the guy in my book. He doesn't have to run a 4.4 but he does have to show some burst and agility. He has to show that he can hit the hole. The guy is 230/235 and he has some vision. I like him a lot.

Stephan Taylor is my favorite back in this draft but I think he's going to be gone.

    He definetely used something.

I think steroids should be legal anyways. Especially for men in their late 40's,50's, and 60's. Also to help people recover faster from injuries.

They just need to be regulated.

They are legal and regulated. You just need a doctor-patient relationship, a bonifide reason to prescribe, and a narcotics license. Many older men are on replacement testosterone.
