Maybe Mr. Brown will call Jerry and convince him it may be in his best interest to do the same.
Man if that happened, Jason Garrett might abolish the running back position all together for Dallas.
RBs are too important in pass protection to abolish them entirely.
You missed the whine but gave the cheese.
Why would Jerry give control to Marvin Lewis....
Good one Spit up my sip
Is he saying "What! or Why? (honest q)
I wish but that'd never happen. I bet most people wouldn't know Mike Brown if they ran over him but Jerry thrives on being the face of the Cowboys & has for decades.
He's never meet a camera he didn't love.
"Since NFL legend Paul Brown died in 1991, Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown has joined Jerry Jones of the Cowboys as the only owners who also double as their organization's general manager."
Jerry's the last one standing........and I don't get the feeling he'll hand over the reigns any time soon.
Sounds like a set up to me. When the Bengals fail to win the Superbowl this year and maybe not even win a playoff game, then Brown will have an excuse to fire Lewis. "Hey, I gave him full control and he didn't win. It is time to move on".
The Bengals MIGHT actually be good consistently now.
