Hate to see Robinson go, but Hue would be a good replacement.

Hue Jackson for WR coach would be quite a hire wouldn't it?

That sucks. Surprising too considering he hasn't been here long.

Yes, but I hate losing Jimmy Robinson. I liked him a lot. I hope he enjoys life away from the game if he is retiring.

If one cook leaves, and another is brought in, that's not really 'more cooks.' I think you meant 'a different cook in the kitchen.'

I think he was referring to another former HC, which from what I've seen is never a bad thing.

Both Callahan and Jackson very good offensive minds. Better as position or coordinator coaches than head coach. Kind of like Rod Marinelli. I think I see a trend.

Is he "really" retiring or is it a Bruce Arians type move.

I think Hue is a better choice to call plays. He's a very very good coach. He maybe rose a bit too fast, but the Raiders wanted to keep him and other teams were interested in him for HC.

However, the Bengals sites are suggesting that he's using us as leverage

The Steelers announced he had retired and then hired Todd Haley as OC. Arians became the OC of the Colts. He didn;t really retire, Pitt forced him out and tried to act like it was his decision.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the head injury that he suffered in camp two years ago.

Either way, it's a shame. Robinson is a very good coach.
