Dez has developed, Harris has developed I don't see this as a move by Jerry If it's true that Bennets lack of development is laid on John Garrett.

During camp in 2011, he was run over by Teddy Williams. He was knocked out and suffered a concussion. He missed a few days of practice.

Thank you. I actually didn't know that.

He's 60. Maybe he wants to get out fairly young. I like him. If he leaves I wish him only the best.

It is not an improvement for the Cowboys if he leaves. He's a very good coach that Garrett has a strong comfort level with.

The third WR position was a disaster this season.

WRs still unable to line up. Still don't understand hot reads.

Not sure how big of a loss this is.

Maybe it's our idiot players. He didn't seem to have a problem in GB.

I think Harris stepped up late in the year.

Both are the only Oakland head coaches that have over 5 wins in the last 10 years. Well Tom Cable had 1 as well but my point is if these guys had some success with that mess in Oakland they can't be all bad can they can?

Good thing the team got rid of a Ray Sherman because of his and Garrett's differences and then hired a guy who's mind was already on the beach somewhere.

Agree. Romo seemed confident throwing to him, and Harris really impressed me with pr ability. Looking forward to him continuing to improve.

He's not talking about Harris. Harris was fine. Oglestump not so much.

That's a little unfair. Contemplating retirement now doesn't mean his head wasn't into it two years ago. It could just be a case that he no longer feels he has the energy to be fully invested for another year. Maybe family is calling him. Maybe it's a combination of things and this is just the right time to do it.

It's not like he's had bad results in the two years he's been here to make you think he didn't have the desire anymore.

I liked J.R. as well....but help me with something guys: didn't he get a concussion or some sort of head injury last summer or preseason? I think he did and if so, he's no spring chicken either. Plus, he probly wasn't overly impressed with the chinese fire drill of an organization either. We should all be so fortunate to walk away VERY well off like him.

I said this in my OP a week or so ago from listening to Fish. Nobody believed he would retire. Fish has pretty good inside info.
