I think this might be one of the dumbest posts ive ever seen, considereing your not trolling
Maybe this news is now old or something has changed, but last I heard a few days ago Harvin is not only unhappy with his contract, he's unhappy about playing on a little over 50% of the offensive snaps last year. Harvin wants a long term, big money deal, and yeah, he wants to be the man. I don't think there's any way either of those are going to happen in Dallas.
Well, enjoy your long and successful career as a football GM. :laugh1::laugh1:
I agree with you...you really don't care how dumb you look on here, so please, proceed.
No, I think people fail to understand that Harvin is a character risk that Dallas has never shown interest in. This staff doesn't want or need any head cases.
Imo jenkins is a character problem too... Hes just not a team player. Getting harvin for jenkins would be a dream come true for the staff.
Jenkins is disgruntled because the team has replaced him as starter in the last year of his contract. He has never been a character risk that I can recall.
This is how you define a character risk:
Good character is someone that does whatever it takes to be successfull for the team and themself. When you are whining about not being the starter or having a big contract then goddam work for it. You have to work for something you want and mike jenkins just wants to get his paycheck the easy way which i highly doubt will happen. I wouldnt be surprised if karma hitshim back and he ends up in a t.o situation. A broke selfish animal. Sorry for my harsh tone, i just cant stand jenkins attitude. "you wont be successful until nobody has to pay you a dime to do what you do".
I'm not saying I like Jenkins' choice, but I just don't consider that the same as failing drug tests, getting in fights with your coaches, etc.
If Jenkins' worst offense is missing voluntary stuff because he's upset over his contract/position with the team, that's pretty mild stuff.
CB is much more of a premium position than WR. Especially given Ryan's desire to play man.
Jenkins is not a character problem.
The trade makes sense--Harvin is a better player than Jenkins is, but he's a contract headache and plays a less-valuable position. But I wouldn't do it. I value CBs too highly to run the risk with nobody else on the roster ready to step up.
:bang2: it really took until the 2nd page for somebody to point out Jenkins has nowhere near enough value to be traded for Harvin? Even Jenkins most loyal supporters would have to agree with that assessment (I hope).
He is a contract headache, but a CB on the last year of his deal isn't? And a shoulder injury to boot. Mike Jenkins is not going to get you Percy Harvin and it isn't even close. You guys do realize Harvin had over 1800 all purpose yards last year right? He is a weapon plain and simple and worth substantially more than a CB who has had one pro bowl year, one year left on his contract, and a recovering shoulder.
Thats more than some qbs lol
uke:Harvin, not your post, bro.
We being judgmental, huh?
And you are like an Adonis, like perfect and stuff?
*****ly litter feller, are you? I guess by your petulent tone you feel superior. but you aint.
Jenkins and coakley
and you yours, your aim low attitude is what winners are made of i'm sure
