Ill help pack his bags
Don't rule out his return. He's worth almost nothing in the open market because there are a ton of receivers that are healthier than him available.
He could return for the minimum, or slightly more.
I doubt it.
I'd pay him that. Dude works hard and has ability. He just has trick hamstrings.
Good luck to you Austin wherever you land. Hope you don't tweak your hammy when the plane touches down.
Please no more relying on guys like this when they have proven they can't take care of themselves year after year after year. He should have been wearing a bandana around his mouth, he's been robbing us for years
Well at least that contract would match the production.
I would take Miles back at the vet minimum only.
There's no rush. You don't want to pull a hammy leaving.
The fact they haven't officially released him is curious. I can't imagine they're lobbing verbal bouquets at one another. Negotiating maybe?
And tie up a roster spot? No thanks.
In the offseason, you get 90. It only matters if he or any vet replacement is there Week 1.
yea tht roster spot does not matter if he gets beat out by the rookies then release him with no real implications....if he takes vet min
ROFL... good grief.
I have been one of Miles biggest detractors from day 1.
Guy couldn't stay healthy enough to beat out Sam Kingpin Hurd.
But he isn't playing for the vet minimum.
And if he is it will likely be back close to home in Jersey.
He did just marry his college sweetheart from Monmouth.
well he's not going to get a great deal anywhere else. Maybe he's looking for a minimum base and some production incentives. I know it 's rare now a days, but he doesn't have options, it's the only way I'd give him a shot.
Agreed. My point was that beyond money, there has to be a place for him on the team.
In his best interest, he's better off finding a new team.
Bad hamstrings are almost the exclusive result of not working hard.
