Brett Favre mentions paid for Madden's retirement (well, that and the video games).

That was part of a stretch where Peyton was playing as bad as he ever has... back to back 4 interception games, and we ran back 2 for scores. I think Kitna's level of involvement in that victory could be summarized as, "he was in the stadium."

Gotta make Peyton move and make him feel pressure. Hopefully our home crowd is noisy and makes it somewhat difficult for him at the LOS.

Is Peyton sniffing smelling salts before he goes into the game?

Yep, and Sean Lee will there waiting for him next week in AT&T Stadium with a better defense to throw at him this time.

Remember when there was talk that Eli might be better than Peyton?

There are plenty of numbskulls out there that will tell you Eli is a better QB than Peyton just because he has an extra ring.

Statistically, though, there is no comparison. Peyton is clearly better.

Yep. If we can take down the Broncos next week - regardless of how the Chargers game turns out - it will show the Boys are for real this year. We have to show we can beat a real good team in order to be a real good team.

Once we get thru SD I'm gonna really look forward to how our defense handles Peyton and Co. Great test for us. Gotta get lots of pressure and hit hard

Playing Rivers and manning will be a big test for us. We can stop the run but can We limit these top tier QBs. (Was week 1 a warmup game?)

If we can beat San Diego and atleast be competitive with Denver, win or loss we will be in the playoffs.

With the rules and everything they'll be tough to stop.

We need to slow them down, create some turnovers, and put up points ourselves.

This ref is rediculous btw. I'm about to turn this game off because of him.

    Raiders offense:
    1st down - hold
    2nd down - hold
3rd down - hike over qb's head into end zone. qb makes good play to throw incomplete pass.
    4th down - punt

I wish Denver had a running game to run the clock out.
