This is just a little shot sheet that I put together for another forum that I run a few weeks ago. I was going by position but haven't completed them all yet. It's a good reference.

    QUARTERBACKS:

    Aaron Rodgers (California)
    Junior
    6'2" 223lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.71
Rodgers is an excellent natural passer with a great feel and overall understanding of the passing game. Smart and deadly accurate comparable to Chad Pennington. The downside is that he lacks the preferred size for the pros and some think he's already peaked.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    23 TD 7 INT
    5 TD rushing
    61.6% comp
    215-349 2903 yards
    210 yards rushing

    Alex Smith (Utah)
    Junior
    6'4" 217lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.71
Probably the best potential of any QB in this years draft. Smith is a fairly lanky QB with good mobility, accuracy and very smart. The downside is that he lacks the arm strength of most NFL QBs and many think a great part of his success was a product of the system he was involved in. He played alot out of the shotgun in a spread offense. Could use some added bulk.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    28 TD 4 INT
    10 TD rushing
    66.1% comp
    185-280 2624 yards
    563 yards rushing

    Charlie Frye (Akron)
    Senior
    6'4" 225lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.79
Frye has good size, athleticism and toughness. Also, great speed for a big guy. He, also lacks the typical armstrength and is inconsistent. He has had the tendency to force things but his numbers are still impressive. He also hasn't played alot of top teams.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st to 2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    22 TD 9 INT
    7 TD rushing
    64.8% comp
    273-421 3549 yards
    288 yards rushing

    Kyle Orton (Purdue)
    Senior
    6'4" 233lbs
    40 TIME:
    5.06
Orton has been very successful against top teams and has plenty of experience. He is an accurate pocket passer with a strong arm and great size. He lacks mobility and struggles under pressure.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st to 2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    28 TD 5 INT
    3 rushing TD
    62.3% comp
    213-342 2809 yards
    100 yards rushing

    Dan Orlovsky (Connecticut)
    Senior
    6'5" 225lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.93
Classic drop-back passer with big size and good timing. Has developmental potential. Not a mobile QB and makes poor decisions.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    33 TD 14 INT
    0 rushing
    58.7% comp
    279-475 3485 yards
    -41 yards rushing

    Jason Campbell (Auburn)
    Senior
    6'5" 230lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.65
He has excellent size and physical strength. His passes have excellent velocity and he is capable of making every throw in the book. He is the textbook size for a pro QB. Posseses good mobility as well. The downside is he is very inconsistent and makes poor decisions. He did however enjoy a significant improvement his senior year which may have been aided by a terrific run attack and great defense that season.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    19 TD 6 INT
    3 TD rushing
    69.7% comp
    177-254 2511 yards
    33 yards rushing

    Adrian McPherson (Florida State*)
    Junior*
    6'4" 218lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.71
Interesting prospect. Talented QB with Michael Vick like abilities. Was banned from NCAA football a couple of years ago. Since the incident, he has done everything possible to take all of the right steps to pursue a Pro career. Kept his nose clean, worked alongside Warren Moon. Gained weight. Trained hard. Played in Arena League last year and dominated as a rookie of only 20 years old.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd Round?
    BEST SEASON*:
    (2002, partial season)
    12 TD 1 INT
    0 TD rushing
    51.6% comp
    80-155 1017 yards
    180 yards rushing

    Matt Jones (Arkansas) :)
    Senior
    6'5" 239lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.40
Huge QB with great speed and is very mobile, even given his size. Has all-around, amazing athletic ability. Could succeed in a number of positions including TE. Needs refinement. Doesn't play like a natural QB and has the tendency to tuck and run too soon. Not accurate and doesn't read coverages well. A very worthy "project" since many of his flaws could be corrected with time/coaching.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    3rd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    18 TD 7 INT
    8 TD rushing
    57.4% comp
    132-230 1917 yards
    707 yards rushing

    WIDE RECEIVERS:

    Mike Williams (USC) :)
    Junior
    6'5" 230lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.56
The star of a National Championship team, Williams is a BIG wideout with great strength. He is a terror in the red zone with great hands and makes the tough grabs, outmuscling DBs on catches. He lacks top speed due to his size and will have to shake off the rust after sitting out this past season.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    16 TD
    95 rec
    1314 yards
    13.8 avg

    Braylon Edwards (Michigan) :)
    Senior
    6'3" 211lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.45
Edwards has the size, speed, ball skills, route running and natural athleticism to be a #1 receiver in the NFL. He sometimes suffers from a lack of concentration though and as a result, has dropped many catchable passes.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    12 TD
    87 rec
    1221 yards
    14.0 avg

    Mark Clayton (Oklahoma)
    Senior
    5'10" 190lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.40
Clayton posseses good speed and hands and is very quick. His fortay is his run after catch ability and is a big play waiting to happen in open field situations. His downside is his size and some think he may have trouble with the bigger DBs in the pros.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    15 TD
    83 rec
    1425 yards
    17.2 avg

    Troy Williamson (South Carolina)
    Junior
    6'1" 200lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.32
Possilbly the fastest receiver in the draft this year. Williamson has ideal height and can stretch the field as a deep threat. He is a real burner and a former track star. His knock is that he is one-dimensional and needs to add more facets to his game other than just going deep.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    7 TD
    43 rec
    835 yards
    19.4 avg

    Roddy White (Alabama-Birmingham) :)
    Senior
    6'1" 207lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.40
Good size and good hands. Also posseses great speed and is quick. Plays physical. Good deep threat but goes down soon after catch often. Needs some refinement and work on his routes and blocking, etc.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st to 2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    13 TD
    65 rec
    1339 rec
    20.6 avg

    Reggie Brown (Georgia)
    Senior
    6'2" 197lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.45
Brown is a good sized receiver with a good ball skills and route running along with excellent leaping ability. The downside, he's suffered from some injuries and doesn't have great speed. Plays below potential.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    6 TD
    50 rec
    821 yards
    16.4 avg

    Fred Gibson (Georgia)
    Senior
    6'4" 196lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.55
Tall, thin, with long arms. Gibson is deceptively fast who plays faster than his time represents. Has great leaping ability and makes tough catches. Also a return man. Durability is a concern and he could use some added bulk. Inconsistent.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd to 3rd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    6 TD
    45 rec
    759 yards
    16.9 avg

    Chris Henry (West Virginia)
    Junior
    6'4" 195lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.50
Has been very productive and has all the makings of an athletic receiver. Built in the mold of Todd Pinkston. Thin and lacks strength. Very immature with a question about his character.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    10 TD
    41 rec
    1006 yards
    24.5 avg

    Terrence Murphy (Texas A&M) :)
    Senior
    6'1" 202lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.39
Has great speed and is smart. A playmaker with strong frame. Has good run after catch ability. Lack of concentration and inconsistent.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd to 3rd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    3 TD
    51 rec
    682 yards
    13.4 avg

    Mark Bradley (Oklahoma)
    Senior
    6'1" 200lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.37
Explosive with good speed. Good slot receiver. Lacks experience and many think his success was a result of playing on the opposite side of Mark Clayton.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd to 3rd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    7 TD
    21 rec
    425 yards
    20.2 avg

    Craphonso Thorpe (Florida State)
    Senior
    6'1" 188lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.39
Thin prospect with great speed and leaping ability. Hasn't yet reached full potential. May have some durability issues and could use some added bulk.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd to 3rd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    11 TD
    51 rec
    994 yards
    19.5 avg

    Vincent Jackson (Northern Colorado) :)
    Senior
    6'5" 241lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.46
Interesting prospect given his size. A red zone terror with excellent hands and of course, dominant size. Has good speed for his size. He did not play against top level competition thus his numbers reflect his dominance. May have to become a tightend eventually due to his size. Personally I consider this pick to be the poor man's Mike Williams and think he could be as successful if not better in the right offense.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd to 3rd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    21 TD
    66 rec
    1462 yards
    22.2 avg

    Matt Jones [see "QUARTERBACKS"] :)

    DEFENSIVE ENDS:

    Erasmus James (Wisconsin)
    Senior
    6'4" 266lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.81
Tremendous athleticism. Natural pass rushing ability. Has had some injury problems and may need to get bigger to help stop the run.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    8 sacks
    2 forced fumbles
    34 tackles
    11.5 tackles for loss

    Shawne Merriman (Maryland) :)
    Junior
    6'4" 270lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.65
Merriman is a 'tweener who plays both as an OLB and a pass rushing DE. Projects best as an OLB in a 3-4 in the pros. Very fast and very strong. Has a 41 inch vertical. Has huge upside similar to Terrell Suggs (BAL). Needs to have a defined position to succeed.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (204)
    8.5 sacks
    ? forced fumbles
    85 tackles
    17 tackles for loss

    Marcus Spears (LSU) :)
    Senior
    6'4" 307lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.79
Long arms with good size and frame. Very strong and consistent. Not a pure pass rusher but will produce avarage results. Excellent against the run. Top knotch character. Lacks speed and is sort of a 'tweener, DE/DT. May work well in a 3-4 scheme as an end.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    6 sacks
    2 forced fumbles
    49 tackles
    13 tackles for loss

    David Pollack (Georgia)
    Senior
    6'2" 265
    40 TIME:
    4.75
Best known for his high-intensity, non-stop motor. Always gives 110%. Very productive. High character. A little undersized and doesn't posess top speed.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2002)
    14 sacks
    2 forced fumbles
    102 tackles
    23.5 tackles for loss

    Dan Cody (Oklahoma)
    Senior
    6'6" 254lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.75
Smart and productive. Plays well both against the pass and run. Always gives 100%. Needs to bulk up. Left football in 2001 to be treated for depression.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st to 2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    10 sacks
    ? forced fumbles
    43 tackles

    Justin Tuck (Notre Dame) :)
    Junior
    6'5" 268
    40 TIME:
    4.60
Notre Dame's all-time sack leader. Very fast and explosive. Needs to work on technique but is unblockable at times. Undersized. Could become an OLB in a 3-4 sceme in the pros.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st to 2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    13.5 sacks

    19 tackles for loss

    Matt Roth (Iowa)
    Senior
    6'4" 278lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.81
Strong and intense player. Good instincts. Needs to work on technique. Isn't a top athlete but still productive.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st to 2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    12 sacks
    0 forced fumles
    51 tackles
    16 tackles for loss

    Demarcus Ware (Troy State) :)
    Senior
    6'4" 251lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.56
Ware is an excellent pass rusher who plays well sideline to sideline. Undersized and hasn't played against much top level competition. Will more than likely have to be an OLB in the pros, preferably in a 3-4.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    2nd Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2004)
    10.5 sacks

    OLBs:

    Derrick Johnson (Texas) :)
    Senior
    6'3" 242lbs
    40 TIME:
    4.52
Probably the best talent in the draft. One of the best linebacker prospects in years. Playmaker who is always in on the action. Has a nose for the ball and holds up well in coverage. Excellent speed, dangerous bltzer and powerful hitter. Posesses amazing instincts. Could use some added bulk to help shed blocks. Sometimes overpursues in an attempt to make big plays, resulting in missed tackles.
    PROJECTED PICK:
    1st Round
    BEST SEASON:
    (2003)
    125 tackles
    20 tackles for loss

    40 TIME:
    4.55
Safety turned Linebacker. Excels in coverage and has great speed. Good tackler. Suffered a major knee injury and has to prove he has fully recovered. Could use added weight and improvement on his reads. Team leader.

    40 TIME:
    4.70
DE turned OLB in a 3-4 scheme which played to his strengths. Very productive with a tall frame. Great pass rusher. Doesn't change direction well making him a liability against the run and under par in pass coverage situations.
