    OT- D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Obvious.
C- Mangold. Looks really good and bigger than his weight suggests.
OG- Charles Spencer. Powerful with technique. I'd highly consider him in the middle rounds for RT.
WR- Jason Avant. Most coordinated looking to me. Technically sound. Moss looked good as well.
    DE- Tamba Hali. Very quick.
DT- Broderick Bunkley. Looks like a MLB in terms of physique and ability.
    CB- Tye Hill. Obvious.

There has been entirely too much coverage of QB Michael Robinson. He's garbage. Great athlete. But not great at anything in particular.

I think the North team is gonna kick the crap outta the South.

from reports, Manny Lawson has become a scout favorite because he's impressed so much with his speed and athleticsm

Avant dropped alot of balls and wasn't getting much seperation

    no Gabe Watson?

Watson has looked really good. But he looks to me like the kinda guy who gets major push on one play and then not much on the next 3. Inconsistent. Tires easily, maybe?

Everyone dropped passes. And those QBs arent exactly hitting the numbers so I don't put too much stock in dropped balls.

I think Lawson is a beast and will be drafted alot higher than currently projected. With Ware around, we don't need a Lawson thankfully, IMO.

I see you have Moss in the 3rd round on your sig. That would be nice but I think he is currently climbing into the 2nd and maybe higher after the combine.

maybe so, but his size will scare teams off, plus the fact that he didn't produce much in college, and the fact that this class for WRs is weak, I could see him falling to us in the 3rd

Spencer's a good kid from all accounts, but... how do I put this without being offensive.....He makes Gurode look cerebreal. I'd be very hesitant.

Avant's dropped a couple of rounds this week. Weigh in hurt him, bad hands hurt worse.

Robinson has a future in the NFL, just not as a QB. On a side note about him, If anyone remembers the kid from Minnesota that he put a lick on. I guess he's having some serious problems as a result. What a shame. You can check a Minnesota board for details.

    Hot:

Manny Lawson - 4-3 DE and 3-4 OLB - Fast rising

Debrick Ferguson - his Kiwi face plants are becoming legendary

    Daryn College - getting noticed

Gabe Watson - massive frame and showed up in tremendous shape. Per NFL coaches - blowing up Oline's

D'Angelo Williams - this years Cadillac, his 5-8 1/2 is an aside - may be more productive than Bush early on.

    NCAA | Watson impresses Fisher
    Tue, 24 Jan 2006 16:58:44 -0800

Neil Stratton, of Inside the League, reports Michigan DL Gabe Watson has impressed Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher this week. Fisher said Watson has been very impressive to the point where it's "almost as if we need to take him out to get some things done inside" offensively. Fisher also said, "He had a reputation as not being an every-down guy but he has not done that this week."

    Senior Bowl Practice: Day Three
    By: Staff

The big news today was Michael Robinson, QB, Penn State participating in drills at RB and WR at the request of NFL personal. Robinson has been horrible at the QB position all week. He's missed receivers, thrown interceptions and has proved to the surprise of no one that he has no chance of playing QB in the NFL. Fortunately for him NFL personal know that he is an incredible talent and think he has a future in the NFL at another position. In RB/WR drills he was very rusty and didn't show much. Had he embraced the WR position from day one of practices he could have helped himself earn a lot of money. Just ask Matt Jones, who last year at the Senior Bowl put on a show after switching from QB to WR. He ended up being a first round pick.

Another quarterback who is proving he has no business in the NFL is Georgia's DJ Shockley. He continued his awful play today by throwing inaccurate pass after inaccurate pass. His south receivers where more then a little frustrated that their chances to impress scouts were being literally thrown away by Shockley. It's doubtful that Shockley will even be drafted.

On the positive side of quarterback play; Croyle, Cutler, and Whitehurst all impressed. Brodie Croyle was once again the most impressive QB at either practice and has solidified his second round status. Jay Cutler showed off his cannon and is being talked about as a top ten prospect, passing even Vince Young on many draft boards.

Sinorice Moss, WR, Miami was at the top of the receiver class, showing an incredible burst off the line and getting easy separation from every corner. The NFL is a copycat league and with small wide receivers in vogue (see Moss' brother Santana and Steve Smith) look for Sinorice's stock to skyrocket.

Tye Hill, CB, Clemson was at it again; covering every receiver he came up against and picking off another pass. The match-up everyone is waiting to see during the game will be Sinorice Moss against Tye Hill.

Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, Boston College struggled again today and is falling on a lot of draft boards. With Tamba Hali's excellent play this week, Kiwi is now third on many scouts boards.

A few offensive linemen who stood out today; Nick Mangold, Taitusi Lutui, Jonathan Scott, and Daryn Colledge. On the defensive line, standouts included Kamerion Wimbley, Jesse Mahelona, and Manny Lawson.

D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia, might be the top prospect in the draft. Today he pushed around top DE prospect Mathias Kiwanuka in 1-on-1 drills. While Bush, Leinart, and Young get all the press Ferguson could be the best player to come out of this draft. It would be surprising if he gets past the Jets at the fourth pick. They need an offensive tackle and have been very interested in Ferguson. They'd be foolish to pass him up at four. If it wasn't for the need to sell tickets and appease the 'average fan', the Texans would pass on Bush or Young with number one pick and draft Ferguson. They may live to regret passing on such a talent.

Max Jean-Gilles, G, Georgia, has looked slow and out of shape. During a 1-on-1 drill, Gabe Watson ran him over.

On the ESPN coverage yesterday it didn't look like Watson had much success against Mangold. For those that may have seen more than I did, has big gabe had very much success against mangold?

it was back and forth. Watson had some good ones, but so did Mangold. Both of them look great i'll take both of them.

I think Kameron (sp) Wimbley has helped himself alot. Very good off the snap quickness. Could easily be a steal for someone in round 2.

Daniel Bullocks has helped himself immensely. People knocked on his man coverage skills (which I don't understand), but he has proved alot of people wrong this week. Definetely a day 1 now and may sneak into the 2nd round.

Maurice Stovall has answered some critics this week as well so far.

Tye Hill is going to remind people of Carlos Rogers and Pac-Man Jones from last year. A late 1st-early 2nd rounder seemingly, but he will sneak up into the middle of the 1st before it is all said and done. Forget the size, he's quick, great fluidity in the hips and getting out of breaks and he has shutdown opponents in practice.

Guilles just hurt his draft stock. I would not be surprised to see him slip to the 3rd round. Spencer seems to be dominating out there. How is Lutui doing?

I dunno QD, IF Lawson is really as good as being reported, he sure would look good on the opposite side of Ware....

    OLB- Lawson
    ILB- James
    ILB- Burnett
    OLB- Ware

    DE- Spears
    NT- Ferguson
    DE- Canty

I really like that line-up.....btw, I really like your #1 pick for us.....

From what I've seen, Mangold has dominated everyone he has gone up against....best OC in the draft, hands down. OSU coachs say he is every bit as good as L. Bentley when he was there.

I would think twice about McNeil at #18 in the first round. Word is that he is slow, and getting beat a lot. He was covered up a lot at Auburn. It looks like a few years ago, when a bunch of DL climbed up the ladder the last couple of months, and the OL dropped down to the 2nd & 3rd rds. E. Winston is still not back from his knee surgery, McNeil is not impressing anybody, and Colledge is not very strong.

There are a lot of DL like Bunkley, Tapp, Lawson, Watson, etc., who could move way up. This scenario would be great for us. We grab a Bunkley or Carpenter in the 1st, Winston in the 2nd, and Ryan O'Callaghan in the 3rd. That way, we have another pass rushing DL/OLB, and two big bookend OTs.

I like Bunkley alot but where does he fit in a 3-4?

I have to agree 5mics that Lawson and Ware would be DEADLY.

And yes, Huff is tha man.
