Citing sources, NFL.com is reporting that it now looks as though training camps will open Friday. If that’s indeed the case, the Alamodome will be ready.

Sources have been saying for a while now that the Cowboys had tentatively set a start date of July 28, but Friday would make more sense in light of the players delaying their vote on the league’s labor proposal and the frenzied free agency signing period that will immediately follow the lifting of the lockout.

But, really, it makes no different to San Antonio. The dome and the Grand Hyatt have left plenty of dates open to accomodate the Cowboys.
