News: MySA: Colombo will face stiff test if he returns Sunday to face Bears

    Right tackle Marc Colombo won't have the opportunity to ease back into his job at right tackle if he returns for Sunday's home opener.

    That's because the Bears defensive end is Julius Peppers is expected to play both the weak and strong sides. "He's a pretty good player," Peppers said of Colombo. "Pretty solid as far as I'm concerned. I've played against him a few times. He's a capable player."

    Even if Colombo plays, I'd expect Martellus or a RB to help chip block Peppers.

    Free looks really good. He could handle Mark Anderson one on one.
