The Cowboys will face some of the league’s top young quarterbacks this season.

It all begins with the New York Jets’ Mark Sanchez in the opener, scheduled for Sunday night at the New Meadowlands Stadium on the 10th anniversary of 9-11.

Dallas will also face the Lions’ Matthew Stafford on Oct. 2 at Cowboys Stadium, the Rams’ Sam Bradford on Oct. 23 in Arlington and the Bucs’ Josh Freeman on Dec. 17 at Tampa Bay.

It’s also possible that the Redskins could have Cam Newton or another rookie under center when they play at the Cowboys on Sept. 26.

A few other thoughts about the 2011 season:

Unless Mark Sanchez is a changed man or the Cowboys D is as bad as it was middle of last season we should be far more worried about their corners than the QB.
