    IRVING — The Dallas Cowboys learned Wednesday that life under Jason Garrett will be much faster and more intense than it was under Wade Phillips.
    Directed by owner Jerry Jones to overhaul the 1-7 club's slipshod culture, the Cowboys' interim head coach took charge by implementing changes that immediately grabbed the players' attentions and put them on their toes.

    Under Phillips, the team meeting was held at 9 a.m. Under Garrett, it will start 45 minutes earlier.

    Under Phillips, the club seldom practiced in full pads. Under Garrett, it will be in full pads every Wednesday.
