    IRVING – Former Cowboys safety Andrew Sendejo was quick to dismiss the notion that the New York Jets signed him just to gain information about Jason Garrett’s team.

    One day after the Jets claimed Sendejo off waivers, the burning question at Valley Ranch was whether their season-opening opponent will try to gain an edge by pumping the Smithson Valley and Rice alum for an insider’s scouting reporter.

    After going through camp and the preseason with the Cowboys, Sendejo could know what defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has planned for the Jets Sunday night.

    Tony Romo fed the conspiracy theory by noting there was a difference in Ryan’s defense during practice Monday.
