NE maybe interested to trade with cowboys targeting cam jordan

price to move would be 60th pick in draft, a late 2nd, with 17th pick in 1st

at question here is the 3 names of OL smith, Watt or Castanzo would one of those 3 get to 17,

zoners isnt that to low a price to get from pats to move that far down?

i want the pats 17th in 1st and their 33rd

If the Cowboys traded their 9th pick for the 17th and 60th, they would be getting robbed blind. They have a chance at a blue chip player and they would trade down for a 2nd, and probably 5th tier player.

    Hell NO!

Norm said that it's also going around that Aldon Smith may go before nine.

No way I would do the deal. I beleve there will be a run of OT from #11-17. Tyron Smith, Conztanso and Pouncey will be gone before Pats pick. A late No.2 or earlt No.3 really won't help us that much in a weak draft.

In 2006, we traded back four spots in second round to get an extra No.5. Who do you think got drafted in between these THREE spots? Marcus McNeil and Greg Jennings. We had to settle for Anthongy Fasano.

    1) Can you still get Tyron Smith or Costanzo at #17. Honestly you want get Tyron Smith and about a 30% chance of getting Costanzo. Most likely this would land Gabe Carimi or JJ Watt. Now you could land another OL with Pick #60 which might be Will Rackley or similar.

Jason Garrett is the X-factor in all the different opinions at Valley Ranch. It's his opinion that will matter the most.

Look for Tyron Smith at 9.

    Garrett really likes Felix Jones.

Look for a RB like Steven Ridley in round 4 or 5.

    I'm so loving this.

Dallas will not draft a RB in the second round. I'm confident.

Garrett has thrown major roses at Felix Jones and his play last year. Jones performed under extreme adversity on multiple fronts, including this poor Cowboys offensive front, which is about to be addressed.

Mark Colombo was the worst OT in the NFL last year.

It would get dicey and we could most likely see another Julius Jones debacle!

If somehow we could come out with these top 4 picks:

    Ras-I Dowling
    Kendrick Ellis

    I would just about faint!!!!

    It's gambling though....and that's Jerry's style.

I didn't remember the trade down. McNeil is still going strong at LT.

You are right. I wouldn't do that deal, period.

EXACTLY! No way! I would take their #17 & #28 for our #9 & #71. Or, I'd trade our #9 for their #17 and #33. That's it or NO DEAL!

If we could get Pouncey at #17, I would be giddy.

Totally right, dont let the pats hoodwink you jerry, and dont get over enthused over the 60th pick, Use the trade for value chart Jerry.

It should be the pats 1st 17th and their 33rd, thats a 100 points your giving up Jerry, pats are trading up, not you. Period, no ifs ands or buts. :star:

    Using the chart Jerry,
    9th 1350
    17th 950
    33rd 580
    60th 300

Your giving up to much if you take the 17th and 60th. The Pats have to give up alittle to move up that far. Use the Chart Jerry! Stand your ground, you might get a better deal from another team.

    I would even throw in a 5th or 6th to get #17 and #33.

If we make that deal with NE as it is being reported, we are totally getting screwed. I think the Dallas Cowboys are smarter than that (at least I hope they are). Tell them #17 & #33 for #9 or no deal. Thy are the ones that want to move up, not us. We are in the driver's seat because we have what they want.

I think I disagree. #60 & #71 using the draft value chart could get us to #31 or #32. Having 3 picks at #17, #32, #40 could really upgrade this team.

How come nobody is bothered by the fact that "cheat" likes Jordan that much? Heard RR really liked him too and he had the ability to play rush LB occasionally at 290.
