But I'm willing to learn more about the Master Plan. The Cowboys make all three of their selections sound like no-brainers, even though most of us were scratching our heads. If things work out as well as the Cowboys brain trust seems to think they will, then we shouldn't really be worried. If these really were Best Player Available choices, then we'll just have to wait and see if the Cowboys' idea of best player is on target or not. Bottom line: As we evaluate the selections, we must include in our draft evaluation the fact that we also added additional selections in the 4th, 6th, and 7th rounds tomorrow...while some of us might have preferred a FS or OLman in the 2nd or 3rd, it's hard to argue with a TE who's supposed to start, a sleeper DE, and 3 more players to be announced. Tomorrow we'll either come away with 6 players, 9 total, when we started with only 6 total selections for the draft...or we'll be able to use an extra 6th or 7th to move up in round 4 or 5 for a targeted player. All in all, not bad.
