    nfc east news:

Yeah, just got an update on Beckham Jr.... TWEEKED HAMMY. AGAIN.

    Not heat related.

Shut him down until week 1. This could be on on going thing.

Hopefully they are Matt Johnson's hammies. Let him have them.

He's actually played some downs for the Cowboys and made some plays. Hows that rookie who can't even get on the field yet working out?

    Who cares.

The guy will be shut down till week one and then he'll play and people will see if he can stay healthy. Tough break for a player when the body doesn't work the way they want it to.

Do soccer players and endurance athletes get hammy injuries that often, relatively speaking? I would think so but never heard of that many. Don't follow though so not surprising.

Kinda wondering if football players focus too much on the explosiveness and not enough on the endurance as they make their way to the pros.

Just remembering a video about Jerry Rice and his running obsession. Ran this ridiculous 2.5 mile hill at a crazy speed every day.

Soccer players yes on hamstring injuries. Sprinters yes.
Long distance runners not so much.

as with all muscle groups they have to be somewhat balanced. Over build a bicep more likely to injure the tricep. Guys try and build these explosive legs and work the hell out of the quads and do very little for the muscles behind the leg.
