What happened? Haha all I saw was Fowler wrap up on our return guy. What really happened there?
He got turned around and they ran into each other.
Turned around and ruined the return completely. I would hate to be him come film time. It was almost like he was dancing w/ him out there.
He also missed the tackle at the 17 and gave Sproles another 50 yard return.
or how about Ellis? You know he's gonna get some ribbing come film breakdown about getting blocked out of a play by Brees
Watch that play again. What was Ellis thinking? Contain? Did he not see the enormous propotions of Drew Brees coming down on him? No wonder he couldnt get out of the way to tackle the ball carrier. Drew had him scared motionless.
He did look really slow on that play tho.
Ellis should be ashamed. He had a defensive players dream, A chance to knock the snot out of the quarterback and what he do lets Brees make him his dancing partner and Brees was leading .
I say be mid year Ellis is no longer starting.
I think Fowler thought he was playing for the Chargers for a moment.
Poor Barber( I THink) did not know he was getting tackled by the 12th man.
It was Crayton who got hit by Fowler.
thanx, I was so ticked It could have been Bledsoe on the return for all I knew,
Ofcourse I am kidding
It was total three stooges. A fight breaks out and threre's a frenzy, before you know it you're smashing your buddy right in the puss. We've all seen 'em run into each other but he actually started to wrap up for a take down. I had to laugh.......later, much later. It was comical.
Barber : "Fowler, FOWLER....IT'S ME, MARION!!"
Fowler : "Kill, Crush, Destroy!"
This ranks right up there with Jim Marshall's touchdown for the other team.
Don't you mean Jim Marshall of the Vikings?
yeah,,,what'd I type? I knew that, I knew that. Just seeing if anyone's paying attention.
I wanted to go through my TV and kick Fowler right up his arse. How can you run straight downfield and tackle your own returner. Is it that difficult to remember to turn around and block the other team?
That is EXACTLY what I was telling my TV set.
It was a good hit tho...
