If I am playing a regular season game and have to pick a QB I would choose Manning.

    Playoffs?

    Montana.

People need to relax about Romo. He's not that old. Steve Young was almost 32 when he won his first playoff game. Peyton is a choke artist. That should be clear by now. There are only two elite QBs in the NFL: Brady and Rodgers. Just because your QB isn't Brady or Rodgers doesn't mean the fans should want him replaced. Romo is a good QB and has another 4-5 years left in Dallas. Maybe he'll choke away his opportunity like Peyton, but give him a team like Peyton's before you compare him.

He also lost a fumble and threw an interception during regulation.

Yep. And how did Peyton not get that 2nd ring?

    He choked in the superbowl.

Manning, like Garrett, is a robot and robotic football has malfunctions in the post season.

Peyton is not the best ever. He gets outperformed in the regular season by Rodgers and Brees and outperformed in the playoffs by Brady and Big Ben.

Allowing your self esteem to flag over a football player you think doesn't get his deserved credit is sad and hilarious at the same time.

He's the most skilled pure passer ever but he's not the best Quarterback ever.

Agree with this too. Romo is a proven choke artist as well.

Turning him into a processing robot Quarterback isn't going to help matters either.

Would you rather have a great qb that never wins you a sb? Its really a mute topic to argue over. All hypothetical.

Would you rather have Big Ben with your season on the line or Peyton Manning?

I don't think that was the intent of the thread.

Manning didn't win a superbowl. The Indianapolis colts did.

    Exactly right on both accounts.

I don't think Manning or Romo are choke artists. I just think Romo is unfairly criticized for something his peers do all the time.
