Be "he" do you mean the Indianapolis Colts? Pretty sure that SB was a team effort.

If football was all about QB play, Aaron Rodgers would never lose a game. Learn the sport, people.

And his Superbowl was a Bigtime team effort.

He carried them in the regular season but got to the post season and tried to choke.

Ill never forget how bad that Colts D was in the regular season and they turned into one of the best defenses in football pretty much over night during that playoff run.

No saying this excuses Romo, but they just had a stat on ESPN that this is the 8th "one and done" for Manning. This means he has lost his first playoff game of the post season 8 times already.

    8 "one and dones"..................EPIC chokeville.

Peyton is 1 and DONE in 8 playoff seasons. He's definitely a choke artist for being a 1st overall pick and leading his teams to 12 plus wins in regular seasons. He's a All-World regular season QB that's for sure but he definitely chokes just like he was at Tennessee.

At least Romo does his choking in the regular season.

A fact most broadcasters will not comment on.

Easier to destroy Romo since he doesn't have that prized pelt in his trophy room yet

Good summary. I too am glad Tony is our QB at this point with this team, as we would have probably won 2-3 games without him

... Are incapable of understanding anything about football.

You think a team winning playoff games or a Superbowl is only influenced by the QB?

It can be easily argued that Manning has had crossroad moments where he was not up to the task.

Is that always up to the QB? Or is it the function of the quality of the team?

Did O'Donnell lose the Superbowl for the Steelers or did the rest of the team when they didn't make plays?

When comparing O'Donnell, Manning and Romo's interceptions only Tony's had pressure in his face.

Does one of the three being a SB winning QB make the impact of the decision or the result of the throw any less when evaluating how "clutch" is the player?

Elway didn't win the SB until he had the luxury of handing off to the NFLs offensive player of the year.

I wish Romo could give us 12 plus wins every year. That would be an improvement.

How many years has Peyton been in the league compared to Romo to have the ability to play in MORE playoff games to even have a chance at Winning a Super Bowl?

Romo fluffers grasping at straws is soo funny. So every time a good QB makes a mistake we have to hear "see, see, he did it so it's okay that Romo does it." Sorry, but Peyton has proven that he can get it done because he has a ring to prove it while Romo has a substantial history of poor performances with the season on the line. No comparison at all!

There is a comparison that it took Peyton TIME to get to where he is now & that even the Great Ones can Fail when the "season is on the line."
