surely...we can barely see him in the pic...
When I took that pic, I thought it was a bad shot. It still is, focus is out, but it's enough to show Watkin's incredible vertical.
How can anyone pass on a FS who can defy gravity? It can't be done.
OHHH MY GODDDD!!!(i swear i said that when i saw this picture)
You need to have that pic legalized, or put a patten on it, and sell it to Sports Illustrated.
I've said it before, not only does he have a 6'5" inch body, but he jumps around 36" and that's not even counting the length of his arms. If you add it all up, he's probably eleven feet in the air when he jumps. That like trying to fit a pass into a receiver who is standing behind a basketball goal.
+ 40" vertical (I thought someone said that yesterday)
Plus 2.5' (arms above head extended)
And if its "only" a 36" vertical? He is merely 11'10" at his peak.
Pwat can get up there.
It's funny but since all the positive talk about Watkins has come out the whining about Dwight Smith has completely "dried up". Maybe next time some folks could have a little faith in Ireland and our youngsters before we go off half-cocked thinking we have to sign every "average" player on the planet.
Well, I don't know of anyone who has arms extending two and a half feet above one's head, but even still this guy can leap. No wonder they have him working the FG blocking team.
I still can't believe we got him in the 5th round.
merely 11'10. :laugh2:
I believe it's a 43" vertical isn't it?
he is my most anticipated player i want to see in the first preseason game.
It has to be something with that body type. Michael Wilson holds or held the vertical dunk record at 12 ft and is built the same way.
Yeager you mean you haven't gotten up that high? :laugh2:
It's probably just Yeager's body type.
I'm the anti Watkins
