our new slot guy?
Thus us worse than the TO suggestion
No, No, No
Threads like this should get the OP a one-week ban. Who's with me?!!
Can someone set up a poll?
Oh heck no!!!!!! Ocho Stinko is spent. Done. Used up. Fini !!
Hmmm. On the bright side, he can now justify changing his name to Ocho Seis. He was MIA for most of last season, so I'm not sure he has much left in the tank.
I can't be the only one here who wouldn't mind having Johnson for a season. Ogletree has never shown much potential. Coale is already hurt. Radway isn't ready. I think a season of Austin, Bryant, Johnson would be pretty nice.
I agree . I think he is washed up and he was never that good when he was in his prime. This was no surprise considering his production last year.
Our new slot guy? Nope. Never been a fan, even when I had to acknowledge the best of his abilities as a WR.
Glad to hear he's getting cut by NE. Won't get the chance to back into a possible Super Bowl ring with a team-oriented club like the Patriots, after all the years of his me-first, look-at-me nonsense.
I would've hated to see him be rewarded that way. Seriously.
Deserves to be placed on the heap with guys the likes of TO. Brought it on themselves. Had all the skills in the world during his/their playing careers, yet focused heavily/primarily on themselves, ABOVE team. Not praiseworthy character traits, IMO.
He'll be retired now.
If you can't get production with Brady as your QB than your hopeless.
The best case scenario is that he still has a little left in the tank, but couldn't produce with New England because he was too dumb to understand their complicated system. That's not who I want to be going to in crunch time.
We might as well give Terry Glenn a call.
I'm not a huge fan, but New England runs a ridiculously complex system for their WRs which is why they haven't developed a young WR in house in about a decade. They have reads on top of their reads on top of their reads.
I'd take him on the defunct Dallas Desperados and Dallas Vigilantes.
Why are some fans so enamored with over-the-hill, washed up WRs?
I don't get it.
I live in Boston and have seen it a lot. Aaron Hernandez in his second season was seeing snaps at split end, slot receiver, tight end, and running back and has got everything. Same for Rob Gronkowski, who is dumb as rocks, and playing split end, slot and TE. The complexity has really become an excuse for guys like Holt and Galloway who have had nothing left in the tank, and guys like Price and Tate who haven't really panned out anywhere else despite being young.
