Anyone watch this show? It's 8 seasons deep and looks like a 9th will be made.

Love this show though I believe sometimes their interview choices make their arguments too "easy". They generally make really good points though. Don't agree with every episode, but I agree with most of them.

Either way it does a good job of being funny while discussing a lot of real life controversy and debates.

    Anyone else a fan?

I've watched a few times and it's a little over the top for my tastes.

I don't watch it on a regular basis. Missed whole seasons of it.

But what I have watched I have enjoyed for the most part.

I don't have Showtime, but I have managed to catch them on occasion. Delivery is everything and Penn and Teller are very funny. Like you said, you won't even agree with everything, but it will be entertaining. I don't normally watch anything on a regular basis, but I'd catch it if I had Showtime, just for the entertainment of it.

They piss off liberals one week and conservatives the next, so they're pretty fair when it comes to puncturing cherished myths.

I liked when they did the show about protesters.

Probably do a youtube search from penn and teller water petition.

Can not post the video here as if you know the show, it has adult language.

Their show is centered around libertarianism. Penn is a Libertarian. They aren't really being equal opportunity antagonists, or fair. Libertarians just disagree with a lot of conservative and liberal ideals =p

Love the show though. There have only been 2 or 3 episodes in the 8 seasons now in which I don't completely agree with their point of view.

My only problem with the show, as I stated in the OP, is that they make their job too easy on some episodes.

Sometimes they have reasonable scientists on both sides of the argument for their show. Then other shows, they find the most idiotic red neck ****** to explain the counter argument, while they find 50 year old Professors to explain their side of things. It doesn't make for fair arguments in some of the shows, even if I agree with their point =p

Sometimes they have a great take on a modern shibboleth, sometimes they set up a straw man and beat the stuffing out of it. They are almost always entertaining about it, whichever.
