How about people just moderate themselves and go to work.

It's HARD to get up on the Monday after the SB. What part of that don't you understand?

Most people go to SB parties and the SB is over by 10:30 close to 11pm

The game kicks off at 630. The SB pretty much never lasts past 10pm. They kickoff earlier than normal due to the longer commercials and halftime show. Even still, it's almost always over right around 10pm. So assuming you leave the SB party an hr or so after the game, your still home by midnight. If you can't get in BEFORE midnight and still make it to work, don't know what to say lol.

I am going to time it, i am sure the SB ends at 10;30 or later because of the halftime show and new commercials

For whatever reason you don't seem to realize it kicks off far earlier than a usual night game.Last year's SB ended before 10pm for sure.

Even if it ends at 10:30, that isn't late. Any functional adult should be able to make it to work the following morning. People need to grow up.

Well I had a job interview the Monday after the SB in 2009 and got a call from the company letting me know the person i was scheduled to meet with was out sick.

It didn't take a genius to realize she out because she was at a SB party and hungover

This thread reminds me of a conversation I had with my middle daughter. She hated getting up for school on Mondays, and believed that either weekends should be 3 days, or the school week should be Tuesday thru Friday. Even wrote a report for school.

Jr High. BTW, I found out after the teacher called, wondering what kind of weekends we had. Sounded jealous.

National holidays are massively expensive to the economy and are an enormous inconvenience to thousands of parents who have to make alternate day care arrangements for their kids on those days.

LoL wow... I wonder if this is being taken more seriously than the thought of making voting DAY (not the day after) a national holiday.

How many holidays do you want? You have MLKJ day in January and then Presidents' Day in February.

I guarantee you though this won't go well for you. The holier than thou crowd are sure to comment.

adjust the season so the Super Bowl is the Sunday before President's Day and everyone is already off? It is only two weeks off now as it is.
