Witten wiffed on the chip. Nothing to do with Arkin, IIRC.

Neither had anything to do with the hit Witten took.

Yeah not adequately addressing the oline had nothing to with the pressure Romo was under causing him to throw the pass to Witten leading to the hit.

The oline isn't and never has been a priority of Mr. Jones, but you can't have enough Dbs.

    Dumb.

It was after Witten made a catch.

That was a play where Romo should have just tossed the ball away -- you really aren't going to get many positive plays when you are throwing to a TE like Witten behind the LOS.

Obviously this injury could have happened on any play - but the play itself sort of highlights the one criticism I have of Tony's play -- he just doesn't know when to give up

I have checked CNNSi and nothing so far except the spleen bruising article by Banks.

It's about as bad taste as it gets, to carelessly toss insult and blame around someone actually getting hurt. And they had nothing to do with the incident itself.

Just don't join the Service, you'd probably blame your Mommie...

NFL network (radio) has been reporting it for the last 1 1/2 hours. Says he's out for the remainder of the pre-season. Possibly longer if he needs surgery.

Everyone wanted a tougher camp. Well, we've gotten it this year.

If it was truly a tougher camp, Witten's spleen would have been able to take that shot. No, his spleen has clearly not put the work in.

Danny Coale should have been in for Witten. Coale doesn't need a spleen.

Really? Did he not get hurt on the desperate Romo pass becaues the Center is a position is a joke? Maybe unfair to blame Arkin its not his fault he's not good enough to play center in the NFL, but Jerry should of had a center in here back when Killa and Nagy got hurt. Inexcusable!!
