Same I wanted Johnson over F. Jones.
I wanted Robert Quinn and Janoris Jenkins. I also called Xavier Rhodes a year before he declared
Risen <<<<<>>>>>wanted Carson Wentz over everbody
Ray Lewis and Merton Hanks
'11 was a good year for defense.
11 was a good year in general, probably the best class in recent memory
I was firmly a JJ Watt guy that year and was a little upset we took Tyron over him. I was right about Watt, but way off on Smith as he's obviously turned out to be a gem
Brady under Garrett and no OL would be a sight to behold...
It would have been cool if the niners wouldn't have traded ahead of us for Jerry Rice.
I remember over at a smaller Cowboys message board there dozen page threads over the Lawson/Carpenter/Greenway debate.
I really wanted Charles Woodson when he left Oakland. I did post here at the time, I posted at another Cowboys message board, but over there I was assured that he was an underachiever and whatever he could do in the past was left there. DPOY, several pro bowls and a Super Bowl later and he is probably a Hall of Famer.
Randy Moss and Derek Carr. Were in posistion for both
Wanted Tunsil or Ramsey last year
I wasn't sold on Moss. Yikes. Talk about a miss.
That is a gutsy admission.
The team was going to draft Ismail, and he was the reason they traded up to the first overall pick to begin with. However, he signed with the Canadian football league and wasn't available. Maryland was damage control in what was a huge goof by Johnson.
I want/ed Hankins, doubt we will make a play for him, it would be nice...
That's like me with Aaron Donald... except that I really liked Zack Martin as well. I just liked Donald better.
That was a good year for me as my "best player in the draft" was Khalil Mack and the guy I wanted second was Aaron Donald. I wasn't a big Clowny fan and thought Mack would be way better. Mack was ferocious on the little video I could see from Buffalo.
I didn't like Ryan Shazier very much, so I was glad that Pitt took him before we could, allowing us to snag Martin.
Missing out so narrowly on Donald though was a heartbreaker for me, regardless of how good Zack is.
I'd take Emmitt over Seau 100% of the time. Then, now and forever.
Mike Singletary, he was ours for the taking, forgot who we took instead.
