Keep in mind, so far this season Dallas has stomped all over lesser teams, and lost close games against good teams. Which one of those categories do the Vikings fall in? If you know the answer to that, then you know we should win and win convincingly, just like we did against similar teams.

Lol I just gotta say the meltdown level some of you are at is hilarious. Ponder throwing for over 300 yards with 3 TD's?!! We may be an average team, but we not an awful team.

    This needs to be archived......lol

Freeman Is horrible. He made the Giants even look good.

Not saying Ponder is special but he gives them a btter chance to win Sunday.

Ponder has thrown for over 300 yards only twice in his career and the Vikes lost both times.

Uh, if you can use 5 touchdowns and 500 yards passing, he is! We will be pondering the awesomeness of Ponder for years after this upcoming performance.

    Agreed.

I'm sure we win this one, in fact I believe we win convincingly. But it won't mean a thing except for that we're 5-4.

Ponder hasn't been much better if the Cowboys can't contain him then I don't know who they can contain.

Freeman has at least shown he can throw the ball downfield and keep a defense honest. Ponder never has. Ponder is a game manager that's it.

I hope he does throw for 300 yards. That means they will be behind and have to throw the football to stay in the game. And that keeps the ball out of the hands of The one person who can beat us, AP.

You do realize that we have the worst ranked offense in the league, right? As in dead last.

I bet he will have more rushing TDs than AD.

We do? Huh, I would have guessed our offense would be ranked higher with all of those points we put up against Denver. Oooooohhhhh, you meant DEFENSE. Well, why didn't you say so? Oh, that's wrong too because the NFL is wrong for using "yards against" when determining defensive rankings. They should be using "points against" which would suggest we have a middle-of-the-road defense, not the worst.

I'd be willing to wager that he scores 10 fantasy points or less on Sunday. And that's not very good for a qb

It's like nobody watches the games (or rather, they wipe all memory of everything except the last game from their minds). Here are the (team) passing yards allowed by QB for the Dallas defense:

    Stafford: 480
    Eli Manning: 428
    Peyton Manning: 414
    Philip Rivers: 394

    RGIII: 217
    Smith: 199
    Bradford: 197
    Foles/Barkley: 194

I'll take the under on this matchup, thanks.

I cant believe this is necessary but look at the numbers of the QBs that we have faced this yr.

    Eli 64.3% 450 Yards 4 TD 3 INT
    Smith 58.3% 223 Yards 2 TD 0 INT
    Bradford 60.3% 240 Yards 1 TD 0 INT
    Rivers 83.3% 401 Yards 3 TD 1 INT
    Peyton 78.6% 414 Yards 4 TD 1 INT
    RG3 48.7% 246 Yards 0 TD 1 INT
    Foles 37.9% 80 Yards 0 TD 0 INT
    Barkley 55.% 122 Yards 0 TD 3 INT
    Stafford 68.8% 488 Yards 1 TD 2 INT

Now tell me, you really think a QB like Ponder will put up 300 Yards and 3 TDs against us? Will Ponder do what RG3, Bradford, Alex Smith (who are all much more accomplished QBs) couldn't do. If you do, then there should be no reason you wouldn't start him in your fantasy league.

I realize we have the worst passing defense in the league, and that's awful. But c'mon...Ponder??! Seriously? The same QB that was benched for Matt Cassel. The same QB that the Vikings had no faith in that they spent $2 million on a QB that was cut 2 weeks earlier. The only thing that's good about Ponder is his wife and thats debatable. Expect a Nick Foles type game from him.

*Oops I didn't realize the passing numbers were already posted*

I had a brain fart and put offense instead of defense.
