One minute you are a celebrity, an NFL player, laughing and hooting it up with your best friend, .. and the next minute you are not an NFL player and your best friend is dead, ... and it is all your fault.

They should worry about his state of mind.

    Sad on so many levels.
Today couldve been a day that defined his career with Ratliff hurt and in hot water a good game couldve done a lot for him. Seems trival in light of all thats happened.

Well, partially Jerry's fault too.. but agree with your point. He's still an NFL player though.. i doubt this ends his career for good.

He is not an NFL player today, and his friend is not alive today.

How is it Jerry's fault, or was that sarcastic?

Did the Cowboys void his contract? I don't know how that stuff works in these kinds of situations.

Jerry Brown? You can't see how it was partially his fault that he's dead right now?

Sadly, just as Josh made a bad decision to drive home drunk, Jerry Brown made an equally bad decision to get in a vehicle with a drunk driver. He sadly, paid with his life. Hopefully his story will be a lesson for people as to how dangerous it is to get in a car with someone who's driving drunk, even if its your best friend.

Did you see him on the field today?

His team had a game and he was not there today, he was not there because of his poor decision, he was in jail .. that is all I meant.

LOL, I thought you meant Jerry Jones.

Don't laugh, anything is possible on this board.:laugh2:

I agree, Jerry Brown is at fault as well.

I have seen one friend ask another to drive because he is drunker than his buddy.

due process, what if you found out the breathalizer was broken and should've been taken out of commsion?

No one is holding their breath for something like this, but there's no harm in not cutting him until the legal process plays out.

Sad sad story. Just a shame alcohol is allowed to ruin so many lives.

    On a different note.

I sure hope we keep Anthony Spencer somehow. I think he is turning a corner on his career. He is playing excellent football.

I have to agree. If you voluntarily get in a car with someone that has been drinking, you are also at fault. Both are at fault. It's just a tragedy, but no one meant for this to happen.
