I don't like to predict scores, but I will predict a few things.
1. The Cowboys win.
2. It won't be as close as some people think.
That is according to what team shows up.
Whose 27 and whose 16?
Chargers 23-Cowboys 17. We have the ball with a chance to score the go ahead TD, but the offense reverts back to KC mode and we stall out on 4th down around the Chargers 37 yard line.
Cowboys: 24 plus or minus 7
Chargers: 21 plus or minus 13
Cowboys - 34
Chargers - 17
Chargers 31 Cowboys 0.
Murray gets 6carries for 11yds, Romo throws 3Ints, fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!
It's true this man has no $&)(.
I'm going to miss him.
Lol...Rivers boiling. Yeah, I think he'll be boiling.
I think the game will start out close at 7-7, eventually moving to 10-7 in cowboys favor, and then us taking off with the game and never looking back.
The final word on Sunday's matchup at Qualcomm Stadium:
Todd Archer: As I said earlier just when you think you have a read on the Cowboys they go the other way. They missed a chance in Kansas City two weeks ago and I'm not getting fooled again (perhaps). Philip Rivers comes up big late with a TD pass to drop the Cowboys to 2-2.
Chargers 31, Cowboys 27Eric D. Williams: The turnover drought ends for San Diego, as the Chargers force at least two Dallas miscues. Philip Rivers will have a big day throwing the ball, and Ryan Mathews will close the game out by running hard for a couple first downs to seal the win.
Chargers 28, Cowboys 24
I am shocked by this.I just dont think the Chargers can score so many points with a bad oline.
I guess the "experts" aren't impressed with wins over the 0-3 Giants and the anemic Rams.
I had a dream that we won 44-9, so I guess I'm going with that. I just hope that doesn't mean it takes 2 TDs and 10 FGs to get there.
The more I look at this game, the more advantages I see for the Cowboys, and the more problem areas I see for San Diego.
Dallas 34, San Diego 13
Cowboys in a close game, 27-24, if Miles and Harris were available I would have said 34-17.
38-31 Cowboys of course!
I think if one embraces the idea that it is hard to win road games in the NFL, it won't be too disappointing when it is pretty much inevitable the score will be close in the 4th quarter (if things go well) and the outcome is then decided by a play or two.
