3 is a bit much, especially when we need a safety.
I think all of you are under rating Jourdan Lewis
Moreau is soft as butter.
If he's there in round 3 or 4 then I'd consider him. Round 2 is a no go for me
I consider him a top second round prospect
He's going to do well in this league
I do have a slight concern with any player that is converted from offense to defense. There's instincts and a mentality that can't be taught. With that said, in terms of size and athletic ability Moreau is pretty much the prototypical CB for today's NFL.
Not me. Love the player.
I don't have any proof on this but I think sometimes people get caught up in 40 times with some of the top prospects and discount the ability to make plays on the ball. This is tough to judge as some of the interceptions are just poor throws. A guy can be a 4.4 corner and have all the quickness meaurables but if is not a playmaker, there value goes way down in my opinion.
I would think the ideal Marinelli corner would not need to have the elite speed. They need to be fast enough, but more important is the ability to play smart and make plays when they arrive. It is why I am typically against taking a corner in the top 10.
He has to beat the domestic violence charge, which might not happen before the draft. He's going to get dropped down and even off some draft boards with that hanging over his head.
He'd be a great pickup in the third or fourth. I didn't include him on my list specifically because of the charge.
They are saying to "wait & see" with this charge, FWIW. Remember that Greg Jackson coached him up in 2015. That will be very telling.
That was a different era. Jerry was more into dropping in the draft and accumulating picks as if he knew whom to draft. We were more into flash and dash instead of substance.
I get no inclination that we're the same now.
My guess is it eventually gets dropped, reading the details I'm on his side in this one
You know Bobby! Bobby Boucher from that movie right? The Waterboy, duh....
When the cops state there was no evidence of assault I pretty much chalk it up as another bogus charge.
Breon Borders CB Duke ran a 4.4 and he is a solid tackler
some other corners
Jomal Wiltz and Nigel Tribune from Iowa State both ran 4.4 forties at their pro day
Jarell Carter from Trinity International ran a 4.40 forty at his pro day
Mike Davis from BYU 4.34 forty
