Hey, I'm on board with ya. He's going to put up staggering numbers with Manning the next couple of years.

If the argument is he wouldn't do it with Tim Tebow, well yeah. Who would?

Who's saying he's bad? Again, straw man arguments abound around here.

But are you saying Dez Bryant is better than Larry Fitzgerald? Really?

Why cherry pick the part of the evidence that we like and ignore the rest? He dropped a lot of balls and made a lot of dumb mistakes. That happened.

    I forgot my list:
    1. Megatron- beast- he get doubled and it does not matter
    2. AJ Green- the most naturally talented guy in the league- great route runner catches everything has no #2
    3. Dez
    4. Brandon Marshal- huge guy that does not need separation to be effective. Giant catching window.
    5. Andre Johnson- contistently great. Big, big guy
    6. D. Thomas- great, great player
    7. Victor Cruz-only guy to really stretch the field from the slot which is rare. May be too low on this list
    8. Welker- Video game numbers for 6 years. He is very underappreciated. Brady did not put up numbers till he got there and they got bounced from playoffs at home after he tore his knee. Brady had 2-3 picks because the automatic 1st down was gone
    9. Julio Jones- Ubertalented
    10. Roddy White- Very consitent, reminds me of younger Reggie Wayne

Just off list Reggie Wayne, Fitzgerald (I don't know how to rate him because his qb and oline are so bad), Nicks, Harvin (injured too much or would be with Cruz and Welker), Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb will be on this list next year if healthy. Justin Blackmon has a shot. He got really good at the end of the year.

    1-Calvin Johnson
2-Larry fitZgerald (even if he had a down year)
    3-aj green
    4-Andre Johnson
    5-dez Bryant
    6-Brandon Marshall
    7-victor cruZ
    8-Vincent Jackson
    9-Reggie Wayne
    10-roddy white

I don't think Julio ahould be in this convo while roddy is opposite of him. Reason Julio gets open because of roddy

    01. Calvin Johnson (Will arguably be considered the greatest to play when done)
    02. Brandon Marshall (Consisitent, big, deangerous threat)
The guys above are never singled covered and still put up eye-popping numbers.
    03. AJ Green
    04. Dez Bryant
Two young up and comers, sure to take over the game, and soon.
    05. Andre Johnson
    06. Roddy White
    Ol' faithfuls
    07. Demariyus Thomas
    08. Julio Jones
Two guys who will join Dez and AJ for those top spots.
    09. Larry Fitzgerald
    10. Percy Harvin
Fitz has all the talent in the world, but no QB. Percy is the Vikings when AP is not the Vikings.

If someone was over thirty, I knocked them down for the younger guys. With that being said, still top 10 WR in my opinion.

On the bubble: Michael Crabtree, Vincent Jackson, Wes Welker, Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks.

    1. Andre Johnson. Produced 112 receptions in only 164 targets. 1598 yards. 0 fumbles.

    2. Megatron. Insane yardage production. Limited TDs and had over 200 targets.

    3. Demaryius Thomas. Limited targets but produced a good deal anyways. Not the go to 1st down guy some others were but 10 receiving TDs and ~1500 yards receiving for a guy with less a 100 targets is insane.

    4. Vincent Jackson. Low reception total with just 72 but produced great yardage. 61 of 72 catches were for first downs making him the ultimate chain mover per attempt. 8 TDs.

    5. Dez Bryant. ONLY 138 targets which is lowest amongst top 10 in receiving yards. 12 TD receptions ranked 2nd in football.

    6. Wes Welker. 619 yards after the reception which lead the league.

    7. Brandon Marshall. Arguably higher but lots of targets and around 80 misconnects with Cutler drop him a bit. Did score 11 TDs.

    8. Reggie Wayne. Again had tons of attempts with many disconnects. Lower TD total than Marshall.

    9. Roddy White. Solid overall numbers but wasn't spectacular. Had benefit of strongest #2 WR in football.

    10. Julio Jones. Paired with Roddy above. Proved explosive and hard to cover but lacked consistency of Roddy.

just left off: AJ Green. Good numbers but high targets for the production. Had 35 more targets then Julio. Did produce 11 TDs and I'd not argue if he were pushed on. Lesser QB than most above.

Larry Fitzgerald is definately top 5, probably top 3 in my book. He just doesn't have a quarterback.

Sorry, but D. Thomas got left out on mine. If you have a QB like Manning, you should be putting up record numbers in receiving yards and TD's. Dez is the better WR this year!

    Face the facts Zoners!

Fitzgerald was targeted over 150 times and came away with just 71 receptions and 4 TDs.

I'd guess Fitz didn't play at his highest level this year regardless of QB.

In the same number of targets in 2011 he produced twice as many TDs and almost twice as many receiving yards. AFAIK he had the same sucky QB situation both years. Was just a really bad year for everyone in Arizona.

Dez only needs to put another year together like this last one and I think you can start putting him on the same level of the Johnsons.

I'm not factoring in injuries or stats. My top 10 are the most talented guys who strike the most fear into opposing defensive backs who have to prepare for them on game day. These are guys you most hate to see line up against you on game day...
