Watching a rerun of a movie I loved as a kid called The Warriors, I recommend it. Some of you youngsters will probably think I'm nuts but I'd love to hear what y'all think about it.

Classic movie. Saw it as a kid and thought it was great, as was Joe Walsh's song at the end.

    Split

What a piece of junk. I'm not a fan of his movies. Thought I would give it another shot. Mistake. Yuck. I just don't get it.

Yeah I actually don't mind his movies but I thought Split was awful.

That's filmed in my homeland of Coney Island. Never saw it until recently. Not bad.

Want to see Split and surprised it was a PG-13 movie not R!

Saw Passengers. Boring. Like being stuck on a ship 90 years.

I've been on a Sci-Fi kick. These were on Netflix

Europa Report = 7/10, space movie. Little slow but i liked it.
Primer = 8/10, good if you want your brain to explode
Upstream Color = 6/10, just too slow for me. Definitely an Indie flick. Interesting premise though.
This Similars = 6.5/10. Best part about it was the filming.

The Visit = 8/10. Shamalong movie, I actually thought this was better than Split. It legitimately creeped me out at 2am in the dark
    Split = 5/10. Lame.

Been rewatching Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. Twilight Zone is still one of the greatest series ever made. The new season of Black Mirror is also great, they nailed it on the head in a few of those episodes.

Check out Black Mirror on Netflix. It's a modern day British Twilight Zone. It's pretty awesome.

Bleed For This - 8 / 10 - I really enjoyed this movie. Very power and well made in my opinion. Was really surprised it only scored 6.8 at IMDB.

Train to Busan - I'll start by saying that this movie isn't for everyone. To begin with it's a Zombie movie, so you have to appreciate the genre. To complicate matters further it's a South Korean movie so you'll have to be ok with reading subtitles. With that said, it was awesome. It's everything that World War Z should have been but wasn't.

Lego Batman Movie 7.75 out of 10. Love Will Arnett as Batman's voice. And my daughter liked it so that cements it for me.

That's disappointing you didn't like Upstream Color, G. I thought it fascinating and beautiful. Out of this world weird, but wasn't slow at all for me. Considering you rated Primer higher, it's really surprising, since Primer (I haven't seen it, yet) is supposed to be a complete high brow, confusing (albeit gorgeous and classic) film.

Have you seen Under the Skin? It's new-age Kubrick Sci-Fi. Amazing film. Amazing. Certain parts of the film were shot where the "actors" didn't know they were being filmed for a movie until after the scene was completed. So good.

Black Mirror is excellent! The PM and the pig episode was nuts! Also, a great show is Les Revenant (French).

I watched one of my all-time favorites last Sunday afternoon
'Predators' where those aliens snag a bunch of mercs/combat players from around the world and drop them on their own personal 'game preserve' planet and hunt them down, the main character humps an AA12 full auto shotgun, it even got that 70's show kid in it as a psychotic serial killing doctor, Danny Trujillo and Laurence Fishburne too ,it's an 8.5/10 for me
