Recovering data off flash drive

    Not sure how I did it, but somehow I broke my flash drive to where the computer USB port no longer recognizes the drive. It reads all my other flash drives, just not this one any more. Is it possible to recover the data? It would really suck to lose the info I had on it.

    Only thing ive found wg is taking the memory chip and put it on another thumb drive (haha not) or bending the metal piece straight so the wires might touch the soder again so they can work (listed as a long shot sort of deal)

    I have been there done that. If you have broken the contacts from the chip to the metal clip that fits in the usb drive.....you are out of luck. :(

    I don't know what's broken, Yeager. I noticed that it was bent. But that's about it.
