Michael Irvin takes stand for marriage equality http://t.co/FIcdM6N
I predict this thread gets shut down fast.
I was surprised to see this. Good for him.
Good for the Playmaker, taking a stand for what's right.
Totally agreed. Makes me love Mike even more.
That's an interesting link. I didn't know about Irvin's background/family. It is nice to see him take a stand on this, IMO.
Good for him.
Kudos to Michael.
Thumbs Up Mike! :starspin
In before the lock.
Well duh Michael. Only those living in the stone ages don’t believe in marriage equality.
I guess he did it, in part, in support of his brother who passed away a few years back.
Good on ya, Mike.
Polls routinely show that 45-55% of America is against gay marriage. All but six states do not recognize same-sex marriages. To say that most are for marriage equality is, sadly, false.
This poll says 53% of Americans are in support of gay marriage. America is moving in the right direction but still has a lot more work to do with regards to gay rights, woman rights, racsim and equality rights.
to the Playmaker!
According to Skip, you did have a gay teammate.
Good for Mike.
Yeah, to this day some people still think Aikman is a heauxmeaux
Good for him. He did address Aikman by the way:
"I didn't think Troy was gay, but even if he had been, I think we could have handled it. Would it have affected the team? No sir. I was going to make sure of that."
